In the coming weeks, The shortest film in the oilyfilms collection, Sometimes, clocking in at an astounding 30 seconds, will be screening at the Portobello Film Festival in London, England. There are over 700 films playing over 3 weeks. It sounds like a great time, too bad I can’t be there.

Just completed a short film on Super 8 - hand processed Black and White - this past week, and submitted it for consideration for CineVic’s Infin8 Film Screening in August.

I’ve been calling it an “exercise,” and not a film, because it was a learning process, and an exercise in using only film, and no fancy digital tricks. I’m pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
